The Facts More than 100 animals are euthanized every day at Miami Animal Services, and many in Broward Animal Control, as well. We are a non-profit dog rescue organization relying completely on the generosity of the public to help give these creatures of God a second chance at love and a home.
If you can help by volunteering, donating, transporting animals or by adopting a dog or adopting a puppy. It would be appreciated not only by us, but also by the animals' lives you save.
A Nation of Animal Lovers As a nation, we claim to love our cats and dogs. Millions of families have pets, and billions of dollars are spent yearly on pet supplies and food.
However, we should take a very hard and sobering look at a different annual statistic, the millions of dogs and cats given up to shelters or left to die on the streets. The numbers tell only half the story of the suffering and agony they go thru before death.
Every animal that dies as a result of pet overpopulation, whether humanely, in a shelter, or by injury, disease, or neglect, is an animal that probably would have made a wonderful companion if only help had come. These animals just need a chance to live and to love.
